The Russian pre-revolutionary and Soviet art criticism deeply scrutinized the creative path of Saryan. Whereas the western art critics appealed to Saryan’s creative work in general sketches dedicated to Russian art of the early 20th century. Today, more and more aspects of Saryan’s opulent legacy are revealed which require scientific investigation in the context of world artistic culture. The Saryan Museum brings the major literature about Saryan to the attention of specialists and those interested to deeply get acquainted with problems of Saryan’s creative work.
