Quite a few paintings by Saryan are in museums of Russia - the State Tretyakov Gallery, the State Museum of Oriental Art (Moscow), the State Russian Museum (St. Petersburg), and other regional museums. He is also exhibited in the National Gallery of Armenia and the Museum of Literature and Art named after E. Charents, Museum of Russian art (prof. A. Abrahamian collection) (Yerevan).
However, the entire path of the artist's creative evolution is represented in the Saryan Museum, starting from his works as a student to the very last days of his life.
50 paintings (30 pictorial, 20 graphic arts) donated by the artist serve as a basis of the Museum fund. Over time, the Museum fund was replenished due to acquisitions from the artist's family, private collections, as well as donations from H.Basmadzyan, H.Yanikyan, A.Azaryan, M.Kireeva, V.Spivakov, the Petrosyan brothers and others. Currently, the Museum fund has over 200 exhibits. Tens of pictorial and graphic arts paintings presented by the artist's family are in permanent exposition.
